Gordy's better place

Created by Jonathan 12 years ago
Even late in life, Gordy was tough and strong. He required very little help and even continued cooking for himself. His mind and eyesight were still sharp as ever (he never needed glasses for as long as I had known him). He was the same kind man I remembered from all those years ago, strong in heart and spirit. He will be sorely missed… It is easy for me to imagine the better place that Gordy is now. Having lived a long life, there are many waiting for him on the other side of the rainbow bridge. He is young, fit and handsome again. After having first been greeted by the dogs he’s owned, his mother, father and wife welcome him warmly followed by other family members. They show him his house, a modest, white, single story home with a big back yard. There will be a barbeque dinner party—one of many. One by one, old friends and lost acquaintances are starting to arrive for dinner including one who has arrived in a rather large RV…
