Gordy knew exactly what he wanted in a house too. It was always painted white—always, as was his garage and every car he ever owned. His yard was always neatly kept. Despite the many trees in the area, there were never many stray leaves on it—his gas powered, Billy Goat™ yard vacuum made sure of that. His lawn never grew too long. His riding mower took care of that too. Way in the back of his yard, he kept roses though sometimes there were tomatoes instead. He never significantly changed the layout of the house. It was and remains a simple single story home, three bedrooms and one bath. The basement remained unfinished, serving as a workshop or storage. The house was almost exactly as was when he first bought it so many years ago and he bought the first one on the lot even before they finished paving the street.
